The Artist
Andreas Peters

Abstract Organic Macro Art (AOMA) was developed by photographer and author Andreas Peters from Hamburg, Germany. “I’m painting with my camera” is what Andreas says about his work.
Through the blend of organic materials and light, highly colorful and detailed worlds emerge on a macro level. No digital effects or artificial intelligence are applied to the finished photos. The intense, powerful and very lively appearance of the images invites the viewer to discover and dream.

The Traveler and Author
Andreas Peters
Andreas is also an author. As a backpacker he traveled the world twice. His book On the Art of Wanting Nothing is a philosophical travelogue. He says:
“Don’t want anything, take what comes and live in the moment.” That was my idea for a backpacking trip to get to know the cultures of North and Latin America and to interview people like you and me about this topic and their lives . I came across some dazzling and interesting personalities and a colorful philosophical and spiritual journey developed – worthwhile for every reader.

Exploring our world, people, colors and landscapes… this is on my mind while i’m doing my art.
My travels, the book as a result, are a major part in my work.
